Renew an Appraiser Trainee License

An Appraisal Trainee must submit all of the following items to the Division:

The renewal period is 90 days before the last day of the month in which the license expires. Any license not renewed during the renewal period will expire, and late fees will apply.

Licenses are valid for two years. The expiration date is printed on the registration and can also be found on the Division’s Licensee database.

If you already have a professional license or business registration in Utah and have an existing UtahID, you must use that login information for your renewal. If you DO NOT have an existing UtahID, you can create one here

After creating your UtahID account, you will need to sign in to the Division's Online Management System using your UtahID. If your Appraiser registration is NOT listed you will then need to link your Appraiser registration to your account by entering your registration number. You will need to contact the Division for your registration code. Failure to do so will result in a DELAY in the renewal process, which may result in late fees.

CE hours that have been recorded can be found in your UtahID account by clicking on your license number. When reviewing your CE, please ensure you do not have any duplicate courses, as CE courses cannot be taken in the same renewal period.

To renew you will need to click on the three dots under Actions of the license you want to renew. A list of options will pop up then click on renew license.
